Festering wounds

Displaying images of chaos and violence, the president’s new re-election video turns up the heat on domestic extremists who threaten our democracy. It’s a call-to-arms to that critical mass of malleable fellow travelers and de facto government contractors (Antifa, BLM) to, if necessary, respond in kind. After all, democracy is at stake.

It doesn’t take a prophet to see the coming explosive multi-front national conflagration around our nation’s festering wounds: DEI, persistent and pervasive allegations of racism and voter fraud; and, new this year, the unknown effects of a curated Guatemalan voting bloc.

Factor in U.S. self-immolation against the coalescing aspirations of Russia, China, North Korea and Iran, each knowing it has until November to make hay.

Taxes

Most of us saw our property taxes raised. But has anyone focused on Montana being one of 11 states in the U.S. that double tax our Social Security income? Federal and state.

Come on legislators. Represent us, the citizens of Montana.

Israel-Hamas war

It's over. They are like boxer in the tenth round. Hamas is so weak they can no longer perform their most basic functions. They should become submissive, but they won’t.

On the other hand, Israel who is suppose to exhibit superior qualities fails as well. They see through the motives and actions of the Palestinians and avoid any association with their meanness. They take action accordingly. Unfortunately, the leadership of Israel is quite ordinary, with some good and some bad. They failed to observe the most “prima-facie” principal of government, “to rule is to serve.”

This only leaves the United States of America. The world needs a referee. Put an end to it.

Left in the cold

Why has the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) taken so long. It has been 78 days since I submitted my application in October.

They clearly state that it takes no longer than 45 days. It is now January 2024.

It gets cold in October, colder in November and December, and now we are in the deep of winter and still waiting.
