MISSOULA — Glacier forward Noah Cummings scored 14 points, nine in a fourth-quarter burst that sparked the Wolfpack past Missoula Sentinel 50-39 Thursday, in the final regular-season game for both boys teams.

The Wolfpack (9-9 overall, 8-6 in Western AA games) trailed 31-30 entering the final quarter but jumped ahead for good when Cummings rebounded a Glacier miss and dished to Easton Kauffman for two.

A steal and layup by Liam Ells added to what turned out to be an 11-1 run; Cummings made it 41-32 when he was fouled one a three, and hit all three free throws with 6:28 left.

He then drained his second and third 3-pointers of the game at the 5:00 and 2:59 marks, putting the Pack ahead 44-35 and 47-39.

Cohen Kastelitz added 12 points for Glacier.

Kade McDonough led Sentinel (9-9, 5-9) with 13 points and Grady Walker added 12.

The Wolfpack’s next action will be at the Western AA Divisional in Butte. Glacier goes in as the No. 4 seed, and will face No. 5 seed Helena Capital Thursday at 11 a.m.
