BELGRADE — Steven Andrachick laced a bases-loaded triple to key a six-run seventh inning, and the Glacier Twins downed the Laurel Dodgers 13-7 at the State A Legion baseball tournament Wednesday.

Mason Peters drew a bases-loaded walk to break a 7-7 tie in the inning; Andrachick’s triple drove in Omar Shilling, who’d singled, AC Chilson, who’d walked, and Peters to make it 11-7.

Back-to-back fielding errors by the Dodgers led to two more runs.

Glacier (34-10) moves into a winner’s bracket game against either host Belgrade tonight at 7 p.m. The Bandits beat Lewistown 11-5 in Wednesday’s nightcap.

Talon Murphy pitched into the fifth inning for Glacier, allowing eight hits, two walks and three earned runs. He fanned four. Hayden Meehan got the final seven outs and the win; he allowed three hits and one run. He also gave up a solo homer to Laurel’s Richie Cortese that tied the game at 7-7 in the sixth inning.

Kellen Kroger had three hits and drove in three runs; Andrachick scored three times. Mike Glass hit two doubles and scored twice.

Cortese and Braeden Foos each drove in two runs for Laurel (40-14).

In Wednesday’s first game, the Bitterroot Red Sox (30-27) fell to the Billings Cardinals (38-18-1) 8-6 and have a 10 a.m. loser-out game against the Havre Northstars. Butte beat Havre 15-5 in five innings.
