About $200 worth of merchandise was reportedly stolen by a group of three who got in a white Dodge Dakota possibly heading on U.S. 93 or Reserve when one of the passengers fell out of the truck, was run over, picked up and put in the truck by the other passenger. The store manager told Kalispell Police Department it was unknown if she needed an ambulance and that one of the shoplifters left her phone at the store.

Someone was suspicious of six people because they were reportedly all wearing backpacks and walking in a single file line and wanted officers to find out what they were up to. Officers were unable to locate the orderly group who might have been on their way to a “hippie fest” at the fairgrounds.

A man purportedly took the kids out for a family outing while drunk. He was allegedly slurring his words and stumbling around a parking lot by a white Chevy Avalanche and someone was concerned he would try to leave. Family members arrived to pick up the kids and the truck was secured.

A store customer allegedly threw a beer can at an employee. The employee wasn’t injured and was advised of their options. The store manager wanted the man banned from the property and the recently cleaned carpets re-cleaned.

A neighbor reportedly showed up at a woman’s residence with a gun on his hip and told her her ex-husband was speeding down the road and hit his son. Officers explained firearms laws to her and she said she did not think he committed a crime, she just wanted it documented in case the situation escalated but did not seem concerned there would be future issues.

A tall bearded man with dreadlocks and wearing a floral shirt allegedly refused to leave a fast-food restaurant; started swearing at employees; then threatened he would be back with a gun. The manager locked the door and it was requested he be banned from the property.

Someone reportedly had 24 chicken sliders they didn’t sell at an event and wanted to give it to law enforcement and dispatchers.

A man in a wheelchair was purportedly sitting in front of an apartment building shouting about being on fire and a passerby asked officers to check on him. The man was having some issues but was OK overall.

A later call came in about two guys fighting in a yard, one of which was the man sitting in a wheelchair who had pinned the other man, who was wearing a Hawaiian shirt, to the ground and was punching him.
