Polson boys hold off Bigfork behind Graham

POLSON — Colton Graham poured in 31 points and Polson survived a wild fourth quarter to hand Bigfork a 73-69 loss in a non-conference boys basketball game Tuesday.

Jarrett Wilson added 22 points for the Northwest A Pirates (11-6), who forged a 51-43 win lead after three quarters — then saw Bigfork’s Colin Wade and Bryce Gilliard combine for five 3-pointers in the fourth.

Wade finished with six threes, three in the fourth, and 23 points. He had 18 points after intermission. Gilliard had three 3-pointers and 20 points. Isak Epperly added eight points including a three of his own in the fourth for the District 7-B Vikings (9-8).

Graham had 13 points in the fourth quarter, including three free throws in five attempts, for the Pirates. Polson was 8-for-15 at the line in the final 8 minutes, and 15 of 26 for the game. Bigfork went 10 of 19.

WHITEFISH — Bodie Smith led three Whitefish players in double figures with 19 points, and the Bulldogs took command in the second quarter of their 71-48 non-conference boys basketball win over Cut Bank.

Talon Holmquist added 15 points and Mason Kelch 13 for Northwest A Whitefish (7-8). Tate Monroe’s 12 points led District 1-B Cut Bank (5-10).
