LEWISTOWN — Maddie Moultrey, Haden Peters and Sydney Mann combined for six hits and eight runs batted in — and a five-inning 4-hitter — as Columbia Falls downed Lewistown 21-3 at the Lewistown Invitational softball tournament Friday.

The win capped a 2-0 day for the Kats, who beat Livingston 15-3 in another game shortened by the mercy rule.

Against Lewistown, Columbia Falls (4-1) had 10 players combine for 21 hits, with eight of them hitting doubles.

Three of them hit homers as well: Maddy Collins hit a 2-run bomb and Mann followed with solo shot to cap the Wildkats’ 11-run second inning; Aspen Dawson hit a 3-run shot in the top of the third inning to put her team up 16-0.

Mann was a single shy of hitting for the cycle and drove in four runs; Haylee Lawrence had four hits and Dawson and Maddy Collins had three hits each. All four players scored three runs.
