Glacier boys sweep Helena tennis duals

HELENA — The Glacier boys won their opening duals against Helena High and Helena Capital, and the girls split theirs on the opening day of AA tennis on Friday.

The Wolfpack boys defeated both Helena and Capital by a score of 7-1.

Number 2 singles player Will Rudbach was a double winner, as was No. 1 doubles team Alex Galloway/Jimmy Glanville, who won each of their matches in two sets.

Ellie Lorenc and Amber Ramirez, at No. 3 singles, won two matches as well for the Glacier girls, who beat Helena 5-3 and lost 5-2 to Capital.

Glacier next hosts Missoula schools Saturday at the FVCC courts.
