Whitefish taking applications for Health Board seat

The city of Whitefish is taking applications for the city’s seat on the Flathead City-County Health Board.

The position is for a three-year term and applicants must be a resident of Whitefish.

The health board’s bylaws were recently changed, allowing the three incorporated cities in the county to appoint a representative to serve on the board.

Those interested in applying for Whitefish’s seat are asked to submit a letter of interest to the Whitefish City Clerk’s Office at 418 E. Second St.; mail to P.O. Box 158, Whitefish, MT 59937, or email mhowke@cityofwhitefish.org, by noon on Tuesday, Dec. 28.
