Hammer Nutrition helps local restaurants

| March 27, 2020 1:00 AM

In an effort to help out local restaurants pinched by the mandated dining-room closures due to the coronavirus, Hammer Nutrition of rural Whitefish is going the distance to help out.

Hammer Nutrition founder and owner Brian Frank has committed to buying lunch via take-out from a local restaurant every day for all Hammer employees until April 3. That’s almost 40 meals a day from Whitefish restaurants including the Orient Express, Wrap and Roll, Wich Haus, Tea Kettle Asian Kitchen and Piggyback BBQ.

“We know it’s challenging for restaurants these days and we want to support our local businesses,” Hammer Nutrition Creative Manager Joseph Perry said. “They’re our neighbors and we want to do what we can during this challenging time.”
