Tiann D. Buker, 81

Tiann D. Buker, age 81, of Whitefish, entered fully into the presence of the Lord on March 4, 2020.

Tiann was born to Tivola (Stuber) and Henry DeLong in Peru, Indiana on Sept. 26, 1938. She spent childhood through high school years in Bunker Hill, Indiana. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Wheaton College (Wheaton, Illinois) and a Master of Liberal Arts from Johns Hopkins University. While at Wheaton, Tiann met and fell in love with her future husband, Gerald Buker.

Throughout her life, Tiann enjoyed reading and studying, especially the Bible. Embracing the relevance of God’s word, she was diligent in scripture memorization. She devoted her life to serving the Lord through serving people. She was known for being selfless and uniquely creative in expressing love for others. Memories of personalized handwritten notes, gracious hospitality and her genuine love for God and the people He placed in her life are etched in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Tiann is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by three daughters: Cynthia Allison (Donald); Karen Bellm (Tim); and Eva Buker; as well as two grandchildren Carissa and Jeremy Bellm.
