No. 26903 CITY OF COLUMBIA FALLS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Columbia Falls City Council will hold a public hearing for the following item in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 130 6th Street West, Columbia Falls during their regular meeting on April 6, 2020 starting at 7:00 p.m. The City Council will conduct the hearing in accordance with the most current recommended and/or required public health and safety protocols in place at the time of the hearing. Evergreen Drive, Kalispell, Montana, the following resolution was introduced: WHEREAS, the trustees of School District No. 50, Flathead County, Montana, have made a determination that as a result of receiving the Transformational Learning Grant funding, the district's budget for the flex fund(s) does not provide sufficient financing to properly maintain and support the district for the entire current school fiscal year; and WHEREAS, the trustees have determined that an amendment to the state elementary flex fund budget in the amount of $125,740.17 is necessary under the provision of Section 20-9-161, subsection (4), MCA; for the purpose of supporting the district's transformational learning plan; and WHEREAS, the anticipated source of financing the budget amendment expenditures shall be Transformational Learning Aid; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of School District No. 50, Flathead County, Montana, proclaims a need for an amendment to the flex fund budget for fiscal year 20 in the amount of $125,740.17 under Section 20-9-161, subsection (4), MCA, for the purpose identified above, and; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of School District No. 50, Flathead County, Montana, will meet at 6:30 p.m. at 18 W.
