No. 26873 Notice is hereby given that regular registration for elections to be held on May 5, 2020 will close at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2020. To register to vote, or to update your name, address, or other voter information, submit the voter registration application to the county elections office. You may obtain an application by calling the elections office at 406-758-5536 or downloading the application online at www.flathead.mt.gov/elections. The application must be signed before being submitted to the elections office. If you miss this regular registration deadline, you may still late-register for and vote in the election by showing up at the county election office up to and including on Election Day. Between noon and the close of business on the day before Election Day, you can complete and submit a voter registration card, but you will need to return to the local election office on Election Day or in some cases the school district office to pick up and vote a ballot. What happens if the transfer is protested? Depending on the number of protests and the protest grounds, a public hearing will be held in Helena or Bigfork. A protester's hearing testimony is limited to the grounds in the protester's letter.
