Lakers AA win Tuesday double header

Danny Kernan scored three runs for the Kalispell Lakers AA Tuesday in a 9-3 win against the Mission Valley Mariners A at Griffin Field, the first of a double header.

The Lakers’ bats were hot, outhitting the Mariners 12-5.

Kernan was 2 for 3 at the plate and Jack Corriveau 2 for 4.

Ryan Galvan had three RBI, Ben Corriveau two and Luke Halland and Jack Corriveau each had one.

Jack Corriveau pitched four innings and struck out four Mariners batters.

Reid Barros struck out four batters as the Lakers shut out the Libby Loggers 5-0 in the second game of a double header Tuesday.

The Lakers scored three runs in the first inning. Barros pitched four innings and got the win.

Ryan Galvin notched three RBI and one hit.

Alden James Wood doubled and had one hit.
