Man’s bad day leads to a ‘freak out’

A man in a parked vehicle was purportedly “freaking out,” when he was seen rocking back and forth violently, waving his arms around and then dropping to the floor when he saw an employee come out of a business.

Kalispell Police Department made contact with the man who was “just having a bad day” and a had had a “heated conversation” on the phone. He was advised of his warrant and moved along.

The driver of a vehicle with no license plates was supposedly slamming on the breaks and making U-turns at intersections.

Someone’s daughter may have taken the wrong laundry at the laundromat when someone called officers to report they were missing four pairs of jeans and other items valued at $200.

Someone went to the police department lobby to drop off a gift basket for law enforcement.

A woman reportedly followed a man with a dog and then called police alleging he was refusing to leave a location where no dogs were allowed. She reportedly said the man was being belligerent and violent because he wouldn’t leave. She also claimed the man told her he was going to “pull out a gun and shoot her with it.”

She supposedly got “extremely upset” with the questions dispatchers asked and said she would meet officers at Second Street East and Second Avenue East.

A man reportedly stopped to look at what he thought was a glasses case only to find a couple of needles and a “bunch of stuff.”

A man allegedly told officers he was in a store buying supplies when someone stole a Stihl weed wacker out of his truck and there was video footage of the theft.

A firework was purportedly shot out of a vehicle’s sunroof and it hit another car.

Firefighters responded to dumpster fires on U.S. 2 in Kalispell and Hungry Horse, and on Willow Glen Drive in Kalispell.
