Streit wins 50 free at Bohn-Morer swim

HELENA - Glacier's Logan Streit won the 50-yard freestyle (23.59) and finished second in the 100 freestyle at the Bohn-Morer Invitational swim meet on Saturday at the Carroll College pool.

Flathead's Mckenzie Lane posted runner-up times in the 50 and 500 freestyle, while Glacier's MaKenna Seibenaler placed second in the 200 freestyle.

This was the final meet of the season for Flathead's and Glacier's swimmers. The state meet is Feb. 11-12 in Hardin.

Also placing in the regular-season finale were: Lars Thorderson, Flathead, fifth in the 200 IM and sixth in the 100 butterfly; Aaron Murry, Glacier, sixth in the 50 freestyle; Jacob Williams, Glacier, sixth in the 500 freestyle; and Maxie Scroggs, Glacier, fourth in the 100 backstroke.

The Glacier boys placed fifth in the 400 freestyle relay and sixth in the 200 freestyle relay.

The Glacier girls were sixth in the 400 freestyle relay.
