Man charged in stabbing

A 20-year-old Hungry Horse man was arrested Saturday morning after being charged with attempted deliberate homicide.

Christopher Croft was arrested and charged with stabbing Travis Bacon, 31, also of Hungry Horse.

Bacon was stabbed in the back, chest, neck and head, according to a press release from the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office. He was taken to the Kalispell Regional Medical Center by the ALERT air ambulance and is listed in serious condition.

The stabbing reportedly occurred during a fight between the two men.
