Loud, drunk man ends up at hospital

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Thursday from a business on U.S. 2 east of Columbia Falls regarding an intoxicated man carrying luggage, causing a disturbance by yelling over his cell phone. The man had apparently been beaten up. The reporting party wanted the man removed. Deputies took the man to North Valley Hospital for treatment.

A man reported from a Van Sant Road address that his wife had assaulted him during an argument, and she later reported that he kicked her out of the car and threatened to kill her daughter. The matter is under investigation.

There was a report of a single-vehicle rollover on U.S. 93 near the Big Mountain Golf Club that injured a woman.

A woman called from a Blackies Road address in the Bigfork area to report that her ex-husband’s son-in-law threatened to kill her husband. That apparently led to the son-in-law being arrested on a warrant in the Ferndale area.

 A woman called from an Old Highway 2 address in the Martin City area to report that she had been punched in the mouth by a man. The matter is under investigation.

Early Monday, there was a report from an Oldenburg Road address in the Somers area, regarding a pickup being driven into the reporting party’s parked vehicle, smashing in the passenger-side door. After investigation, it appears it will be a deliberate criminal mischief case rather than a hit-and-run.

Responding to a report of a man stealing CDs from a store on the  6100 block of U.S. 2 West Friday morning, the man was apprehended and arrested by Kalispell Police on a stolen vehicle warrant out of the Flathead County Sheriffs Office.

On Thursday, a woman called from a Main Street business to report that 8-10 teenage boys were harassing customers and traffic on First Avenue West.

Someone called from the 300 block of Fourth Avenue West to report a theft of drugs.

A woman called to report an assault related to her somehow getting kicked in the face at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
