High School hoops: Charlebois scores 22 points, ties school record for treys

BIGFORK - Caitlin Charlebois scored a season-high 22 points and matched a school game record with five treys as Bigfork (8-1) dropped Whitefish 59-21 on Friday in nonconference girls basketball play.

Charlebois hit all her treys in the opening half, four in the first quarter.

Taylor Peck notched a team best six assists to go with 11 points. Quinci Paine had a team-high nine rebounds and eight points.

Mallery Knoll had 10 points for the victors.

Rachel Chery missed her first free throw, but sank her second attempt with seven seconds remaining to lift the Glacier JV to a nonconference victory over Stillwater Christian School at SCS.

Chery finished with 10 points. Cassidy Hashley led Glacier with 13 points.

Stillwater (11-2), which had its nine-game winning streak snapped, had Samantha Red Elk and Jordan Danz finish with 12 points each.

Linnea Hashley led the hosts in rebounds with eight and shared the team high in assists with Danz, four each.

Morgan Paolini had 10 points and her five steals led SCS.

Columbia Falls (3-4 overall, 2-0 league) held Ronan (0-8, 0-3) to single-digit scoring in every quarter.

Evan Epperly scored 12 points for Glacier JV.

Trent Burton led Stillwater with 16 points. Trevor Holladay tallied 10.
