| January 12, 2011 2:00 AM

Lucille Carnesi, 76, “went to be with her Lord and Savior” on Jan. 5, 2011. She slipped away peacefully with her daughter at her side at Brendan House in Kalispell.

Lucille was born Feb. 11, 1934, in Denver, where she lived most of her life.

She married Joe Carnesi March 25, 1950, who preceded her in death in 2006.

She lived in Grand Junction, Colo., from 1985 to 2005 when she moved to Montana to be with family.

In her strength she was always there for anyone who needed help. She loved living at the Elms Apartments in Kalispell the past few years where her friends became her family. Oh, how she looked forward to the potluck dinners each month and getting others together for game night. Lucille also enjoyed her days at The Summit where she met so many friends.

Lucille is survived by her daughter, Dianna Memmer, of Kalispell; sons, Don Carnesi of Chester, Va., and Dan Carnesi of Winter Garden, Fla. She was the proud grandmother of Tiffany Carroll of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jim Lott of Thornton, Colo., and Shelley Gill of Buffalo, Wyo. And was she ever proud of her great-grandchildren, Brittany, Alexis, Kylie, Ian and Ethan, and everybody knew it. She is also survived by her sister Iris Hanifen, and brother Joseph Vincent, of Denver.

Her sister, Peggy Arvin, preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at Faith Alliance Church, 348 Second Ave. West, in Kalispell. A reception will follow at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Alliance Church, 348 Second Ave. W., Kalispell, MT 59901
