Beverly Joan Negri, 78

Beverly Joan Negri, 78, of Somers, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at lmmanuel Lutheran Home in Kalispell.

Beverly was born Nov. 13, 1932, to Tyra and Julia Blackwell in Seattle. There she attended and graduated high school.

She married Donald W. Negri on July 14, 1951. They lived in Seattle and Bellevue, Wash. She had a career working in the banking industry and became a bank executive. She worked at several banks throughout the surrounding area.

Together they retired in 1987 and moved to Whitefish, and then on to their home in Somers.

In her younger years, Beverly enjoyed ice skating and skiing. Her pride and joy was a beautiful collection of seraphim angels and cherished teddies. She loved taking leisurely naps.

She was preceded in death by her parents; several siblings; and her daughters, Teresa (1956), and Nancy Campbell (1991).

She is survived by her husband; sons, James and Carol of Sacramento, Calif., Howard of Kalispell, and Donald O. and Kristy of Whitefish; daughter, Joan, and Dennis Barrow, of Columbia Falls; 13 grandchildren; and a sister, Grace Swegel, of Bellevue.

Cremation has taken place through Buffalo Hill Funeral Home

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at Pope John Paul II in Bigfork.
