Clinton “Randy” Randal Mock, 54, passed away Feb. 10, 2011, at the University of Colorado Hospital in Denver during evaluation for a possible liver transplant. He was cremated and brought home to Montana.

Randy was born June 26, 1956, in Missoula to Robert and Evelyn Fay Mock. He attended public schools in Missoula, graduating from Sentinel High School in 1975. He went to Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho, on a track scholarship.

He returned to Missoula and worked in the timber industry and then began his own hot tub and spa line which became Mountain Springs Spas. The company expanded its showrooms into several states and exported products abroad.

In 2003, Randy became the owner/manager of the Mountain Springs Spas store in Kalispell, and relocated there with his fiancee Linda where he made many new friends. Randy and Linda built their house in a beautiful meadow east of town and enjoyed the mountain views everyday.

Randy loved the outdoors and the open road, whether it was on his Harley, his ATV or driving a collector car or one of his Corvettes. He built several street rods. His last and favorite motorcycle trip was a trip through Glacier Park with his dad’s family. Randy loved to travel and went on cruises to the Caribbean. He and Linda went to Hawaii, California, the Oregon coast, Arizona and Colorado and had many adventures in Montana.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Sole; parents, Bob and Faye Mock; brothers, Lynn and Stan Mock; and numerous aunts, uncles and nieces.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at 5 p.m. on Feb. 19, at the Hampton Inn, on Hwy. 2 West in Kalispell. Please bring your memories, stories and a potluck dish to share.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the American Liver Foundation, and please be an organ donor.
