Guild quilters kick off annual show on Friday

The Flathead Quilters Guild kick off their 28th annual show Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Flathead County Fairgrounds.

Admission costs $5 per day for the show that runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday in the Expo, grandstand and Country Kitchen buildings on the fairgrounds.

Along with Blanche Garrett as featured quilter, the show includes a merchant mall, silent auction, quilts for sale, members boutique, food and free demonstrations. Toni Whitney was selected as the guest speaker.

The show titled "Traditions and Textures' includes viewers' choice voting on Friday and raffle drawings on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. A portion of proceeds go to benefit CASA.
