The Daily Inter Lake

HELENA - This time the comeback came up short.

The Glacier Wolfpack fell 21-13 on the road to Helena High on Friday in Western AA football action.

Senior running back Taylor Hart scored his eighth touchdown of the season in the fourth quarter to put the Wolfpack (2-2) within eight points, but the Bengals (3-1) leaked out the clock from there to seal its third win in a row.

Hart finished with 75 yards on 20 carries. Glacier beat Helena in every offensive category besides points. The Wolfpack totaled 107 yards rushing and 228 passing while the defense held Helena to 62 yards rushing and 193 yards passing.

Glacier senior Wiley Fusaro scored on a 3-yard touchdown run in the opening minutes of the second.

The Bengals made distance after that and scored twice more before the half.

Bryan Chery led the Wolfpack in receiving with 51 yards on eight catches and Jacob Leininger had 50 yards on five catches.
