Columbia Falls High School counselors on Tuesday will present their annual College Planning Night for all interested students and parents.

School counselors will help students and parents find information on topics including how to choose a school to attend, how to apply and how to pay for post-secondary education.

Participants will gather information using the school's computers.

"College planning is not usually a simple process," counselor Doug Cordier said. "Even families who are veterans at sending their children to college are finding constant changes in the process.

"We're offering this workshop to help relieve the stress involved in getting kids to college."

Parents and students will benefit by getting the information now, Cordier added.

Those who attend will receive hands-on experience about college selection and application processes. The interactive event begins at 6:30 p.m. in the high school Launer Library. For further information, call a school counselor at 892-6500.
