Flathead County sheriff

A Trumble Creek Drive resident allegedly was followed home after a road rage incident. The motorist who followed the resident reportedly got out of the car and refused to leave the property. Neither party, however, wanted to file a complaint with Flathead County Sheriff's deputies and pursue charges.

The man walking a fence line on Hoffman Draw with a semi-automatic rifle was gone when deputies arrived. Apparently there is some dispute about the easement.

A Hungry Horse woman allegedly received harassing text messages from a Helena man regarding an ongoing civil issue.

The director of a Somers youth center told deputies an indigent man twice struck a boy in the face.

A Sherman Road resident told deputies a man drove into his yard, took something off his barn and tried to drive away. The resident confronted the would-be thief, who reportedly admitted his deed.

Kalispell police responded to Corporate Drive after a man complained about another man watching him use the restroom.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 21-year-old woman on suspicion of DUI and a warrant for contempt of court during a traffic stop on Baker Avenue.

Officers received 33 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police responded Tuesday afternoon to a school on 12th Avenue West and Talbot Road after an 8-year-old allegedly pulled a knife in the parking lot. The knife was confiscated and the boy released ti his mother. No one was injured.

Officers received 21 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Creston Fire Department was called out to investigate reports of illegal burns in the Yeoman Hall Road area and on Hemler Lane.

The Bigfork Fire Department extinguished a car on fire in a parking lot off Montana 35.

The Hungry Horse Fire Department, Martin City Fire Department, and Three Rivers EMS responded to U.S. 2 after a car hit a utility pole.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department took a 20-year-old man, who reportedly overdosed, to the hospital.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to treat a person with a broken leg on Liberty Street.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded Tuesday afternoon to a U.S. 93 bowling alley and extinguished a small fire. Smoke had been spotted coming from the attic.

Three Rivers EMS responded to a crash on Fourth Avenue, but no one was seriously injured.
