Ada Evelyn Collins, 97

Ada Evelyn Collins, 97, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at the Heritage Place in Kalispell. She was born on April 29, 1912, in Cove, Ore., to Stephen David and Eva (Millman) Lloid. Ada received her early education in Cove.

In 1930, she married John Collins of Kingston Mines, Ill.

Ada lived in Bigfork until 1968, when she moved to Kalispell after John's death.

Ada was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, and four sisters.

She is survived by one son, Jerry, and Judy Collins; four grandsons; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Estelle West, of Milwaukie, Ore.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services will be held for Ada at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, at Glacier Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today, Oct. 1, in the Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Chapel.
