Oops, he forgot his wallet - that's what a man told the servers at one Evergreen restaurant. It might have been believable once, but when he tried it a second time Friday at a different restaurant, the man got caught. He was identified at both restaurants, then ticketed by Flathead County sheriff's deputies.

A Cedar Drive resident reported money missing from a bank account.

A resident suspects there may be an unwanted neighbor on Smith Lake Road; a mountain lion may have bedded down in the leaves there.

An intoxicated partygoer was unwelcome after breaking out a couple of windows and passing out in a bedroom in Hungry Horse. When deputies arrived, he complained of hip and leg pain and was taken to the hospital.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police arrested a 15-year-old boy at a high school on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

A girl said that her ex-boyfriend refuses to return a videotape he has of her. Officers advised her to come to the station with her parents to make a complaint, but the girl never showed.

A woman complained that an auto company never credited her with a warranty she purchased there.

Someone reported receiving a scam check at an East Idaho business. Elsewhere in Kalispell, someone unwittingly cashed a scam money order.

Officers received several complaints of teens raising a ruckus in various parking lots off U.S. 93.

An intoxicated man who apparently needed money reportedly refused to let a woman get out of her car at a bar on Woodland Park Drive. When he passed out at a nearby restaurant, he was taken to the hospital emergency room, where officers later arrested him on suspicion of assault and disorderly conduct.

A First Avenue West woman accused her ex of breaking a window out of her vehicle.

An officer met with someone who claimed to have been drugged at a bar.

Officers arrested an 18-year-old man at a theater for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

A fast-food restaurant employee suspected a driver was intoxicated when the man appeared to have passed out in his vehicle and refused to pull forward in the drive-through. Police arrested him on suspicion of DUI, disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer.

A Second Avenue West man believes the smelly gift left on his front porch might have been retaliation for his complaints about noise at the city airport.

Someone broke an interior door and some mirrors, and put several holes in the walls at a vacant rental house on Eighth Avenue West.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 21-year-old man suspected of causing 'severe damage" by breaking off a fire sprinkler at a grocery store. He was ticketed on suspicion of felony criminal mischief.

Officers arrested a 39-year-old driver on suspicion of being a habitual offender. The man also was wanted on Montana Highway Patrol warrants.

Police arrested a 19-year-old man on a warrant and for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Officers received 37 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a man on suspicion of disorderly conduct after he reportedly was involved in a fight in front of a bar.

Officers received 31 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
