Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a Hungry Horse home after an argument between two men resulted in a broken window. One of the men involved was dating the resident's daughter. The alleged disturbance was reported separately by the two residents who live in the home, neither of whom was present at the time. An intoxicated witness, who reportedly fell down and hurt his leg, was taken to the hospital.

Deputies told people playing their music too loudly at a First Avenue North residence in Hungry Horse to turn down the volume.

The paper box outside a Lore Lake Road home was stolen and the bulbs were shot out of the light fixtures, possibly with a BB gun.

Someone called deputies with information about embezzlement allegedly occurring at a Kalispell-area business, but then hung up.

Five hundred dollars was reported stolen from an Evergreen motel room. The occupant suspects a guest left with the cash.

Deputies responded to Whalebone Drive to investigate reports of an argument involving four underage drinkers. An adult, who initially did not come to the door, told deputies the suspects had left.

A disturbance on Rockhill Road in Kila started with a girl getting kicked out of her house by her parents, then involved her older boyfriend, and ended in a broken window.

In what most likely was a case of mistaken identity, a man wanted for homicide in Washington state was spotted Thursday on U.S. 93 south of Kalispell, possibly hitchhiking or asking for directions. He actually was taken into custody in the Seattle area.

An Evergreen resident reported being stalked and harassed. Harassing phone calls were reported by a Montana 40 resident.

Deputies received 139 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police responded to a Chinese restaurant on West Idaho Street after a woman allegedly threw a plate at another woman's face. The restaurant opted not to press charges.

A disgruntled former employee allegedly made threats while attempting to take his tools and leave an Appleway Drive job site.

Officers arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion of disorderly conduct after responding to a parking complaint outside a Fifth Avenue West salon.

Officers returned a young child who took off running from a Second Avenue West North residence to his father.

A neighbor reported an argument between a man and woman at a U.S. 93 South hotel. The woman, however, denied any altercation took place when officers arrived.

A woman crying on the side of the road near the intersection of Sixth Avenue West and 10th Street was gone when officers arrived.

Officers were called to remove an intoxicated man from the lobby of an apartment complex on Third Avenue West.

Windows on a Fourth Avenue East school were covered in spray paint.

Money was reported missing from the bank deposit of a U.S. 93 South convenience store.

Officers received 78 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested an 18-year-old woman on suspicion of possession of alcohol after responding to a disturbance on Lupfer Avenue.

A vehicle a woman bought online and paid for was never delivered. She reported the incident to police.

3:30 p.m. Friday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of aggravated assault after responding to a fight between two men on Fifth Street West. The man arrested reportedly had a baseball bat.

A 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI, eluding police officers, driving on a suspended license, and resisting arrest during a traffic stop on Nucleus Avenue.

Officers are investigating reports that a man was assaulted at a Nucleus Avenue bar.

Officers received 37 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department was paged out to Lawrence Park after a dog fell through the ice.

The South Kalispell Fire Department responded to what was reported as a chimney fire on Bison Drive.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to First Avenue East North and U.S. 93 after a bicyclist and van collided. The driver was cited. The cyclist was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a chimney fire on Sixth Street West.
