Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to an apartment complex on Montana 35 after a woman called to report that her ex-boyfriend broke her window, started to leave, then came into the home. A neighbor believes the man was in the area looking for drugs.

Shots reportedly were heard near Emery Bay, but after speaking with campers deputies were unable to find anything amiss.

Deputies responded to a disturbance between family members in the Trumble Canyon Road area and calmed the participants down. They agreed to work out their issues peacefully.

Children on East Evergreen Drive allegedly are cutting open baby birds and leaving them on neighbors' property.

Deputies responding to Second Avenue South in Hungry Horse sent a man camping out on the mother of his child's property on his way.

A woman called deputies to report that her boyfriend told her he had been beaten up at a Bigfork restaurant. When deputies finally got in touch of the alleged victim, however, he declined medical attention or to press charges.

Guns were reported stolen from a car outside a Bigfork restaurant. The gate was torn out of the ground near Smith Lake Road where a resident believes lot of thefts have been occurring lately.

Deputies received 134 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police responded to a hotel off U.S. 93 South early Wednesday morning after a man showed up there with a small, superficial knife wound to his back. The alleged victim didn't want to press charges, but officers left contact information for when he sobered up.

Outdoor lights were stolen from a home on Fifth Avenue East North. The garden hose was taken from a Fifth Avenue West residence. A wallet and DVD player were pilfered from a truck in a Sixth Avenue West driveway.

During a traffic stop on Appleway Drive, officers arrested a 26-year-old habitual traffic offender for not wearing a seat belt, speeding, driving without insurance, and driving on a suspended license.

An employee of a West Idaho Street restaurant called police claiming his boss wouldn't pay him. Minutes later, the boss called saying the employee was leveling threats.

Two intoxicated men in a van refused to leave the parking lot of a grocery store on First Avenue East North, until police were called.

A Sixth Avenue East resident believes their father had a key made, entered their home without permission, and left the back door open. The neighbors may be involved.

When a woman pulling weeds outside her son's Liberty Street home returned from throwing them away, her purse was gone.

Despite a restraining order, a man keeps sending a Kalispell woman text messages.

Officers received 85 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Whitefish police received 46 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 23-year-old man on an outstanding Flathead County warrant after he came to the station to retrieve an ID card.

Officers received 24 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Alarms

Paramedics with Three Rivers EMS responded to Witty Lane to treat a man choking on some food.

The Kalispell Fire Department was paged to Anderson Lane and Conrad Drive after a vehicle took a corner too quickly and ejected a passenger. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Second Avenue East after a motorcycle rider crashed. No other vehicles were involved. She was taken to the hospital.

The Kalispell Fire Department and Lakeside Quick Response Unit responded to a crash involving a pickup truck off Lower Valley Road. The driver was taken to the hospital, possibly with a broken wrist.
