Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a Hodgson Road home to break up an altercation between a man and woman. Dispatchers heard a man yelling obscenities in the background.

A 3-year-old child found by a passerby in front of a Lower Valley Road home was returned to her mother. A 2-year-old child who wandered out the front door of her residence off West Reserve Drive also was returned home.

A man came to a woman's River Junction Road home and accused her of looking into his windows.

Gum, cigarettes, and about $80 were stolen from a vehicle parked outside a Whitefish-area rehab facility.

A Moose was spotted on Wisconsin Avenue in Whitefish. Horses got loose on Blanchard Lake Road.

Bicycles were vandalized while summer school was in session at an Evergreen junior high school.

Deputies received 139 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

A woman at a hotel on U.S. 93 South told Kalispell police a man came to her window, called her names, and then spit in her face.

Officers were unable to find the man drinking a beer while driving down U.S. 2 west of Kalispell.

The person allegedly threatening a driver on Empire Loop almost broke the vehicle window.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 54-year-old woman Thursday morning who was sleeping in one of the booths at a bowling alley off U.S. 93 for disorderly conduct.

Officers received 49 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police are investigating reports of a fight outside a Nucleus Avenue bar.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI following a traffic stop on U.S. 2.

Alarms

The Evergreen Fire Department and Kalispell Fire Department responded to Dogwood Avenue and to West Cottonwood Drive to treat a person having difficulty breathing.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to East Lakeshore Drive after a dump truck rolled off the road. The driver was taken to North Valley Hospital.

The Kalispell Fire Department and Whitefish Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 93 near Happy Valley. Occupants suffered minor injuries.

The Bigfork Fire Department and Bigfork Ambulance responded to Mudlake Road after a 14-year-old was hurt in a four-wheeler crash.
