A man who walked into a West Montana Street business with a baseball bat was denied his request to use the phone. Employees reported his suspicious behavior to Kalispell police.

Three small boys knocked three holes in a Glacier Circle resident's fence.

A Liberty Street woman returned home to find her sister in her apartment, without permission. The suspect took off on a pink bike.

Someone stole a hand tool from an automotive shop on Third Street West.

The man who puked out the window of his van on Fifth Street West was reported as a drunk driver.

A man on Sixth Avenue West thought he had been shot at, but the noise turned out to be from a firecracker.

Graffiti was found on a fence and garage on Fifth Avenue West and on a building on U.S. 93 North.

Delivery trucks on Kelly Road were found with their gas tanks open, prompting employees to suspect a recently fired employee. However, other businesses in the area reported similar thefts of gasoline.

Officers received 76 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Flathead County sheriff

An Evergreen woman told Flathead County Sheriff's deputies that she was receiving harassing phone calls from another woman, but also that she didn't want to press charges.

The transient harassing customers outside a sporting goods store in Evergreen was sent on his way.

Half a slab of granite was stolen from a business on U.S. 93 South. A phone was reported stolen from a Marion campground. Items went missing in the parking lot of a Coram bar. A boat motor was reported missing from a Bigfork harbor.

Deputies were notified about an altercation between two students at an Evergreen junior high school.

Chickens were killed by a dog in the Columbia Falls area. A stray, vicious dog was reported running loose near Olney.

Two girls were charged with vandalism after defacing mirrors in the Flathead County juvenile detention facility.

Deputies at an Evergreen-area shipping business arrested a 51-year-old man on a warrant for felony stalking.

Someone broke into a storage shed at a Mexican restaurant in Bigfork, but nothing appears to be missing.

Deputies responded to disturbances Monday on Tamarack Lane outside Columbia Falls, on Sunny Lane, and in a car traveling westbound on Blankenship Road.

Deputies were called to remove unwanted and unruly people from the parking lot of a store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen and, about half an hour later, from a nearby hotel.

A case of indecent exposure, maybe, was reported on Fourth Avenue South in Hungry Horse.

Deputies received 139 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 20-year-old woman on a misdemeanor warrant for endangering others while under the influence of an intoxicating substance.

Officers were called to break up disturbances at two separate downtown bars late Monday.

Officers arrested a 48-year-old man on two Kalispell warrants, a county warrant and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia after he was found sleeping behind the wheel of his car on Central Avenue.

Officers received 51 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police are investigating an alleged family member assault on Third Avenue West.

Officers arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of DUI during a traffic stop on U.S. 2.

Officers received 24 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to treat a person having chest pains outside a Central Avenue bar.

The West Valley Fire Department responded to Rhodes Draw after a vehicle reportedly caught on fire.

The Somers, South Kalispell, Smith Valley, and West Valley fire departments were paged out to a reported grass fire on Valley Drive.

The Ferndale Fire Department responded to Montana 83 north of Montana 209 after a tree caught fire.

The Bigfork Fire Department responded to a hit gas line on Pierce Lane.
