Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to First Avenue North in Hungry Horse after a resident called to complain about yelling and the sound of breaking glass coming from the neighbors' house.

Deputies asked the man and woman involved to keep it down. However, they were back at the home less than an hour later after the woman allegedly hit her husband and threatened his life.

A Lakeside man allegedly grabbed his wife, then threw things around a room of their home during an argument.

During a fight on U.S. 93 in Lakeside, a man allegedly used a knife against the man who was biting him. No one suffered life-threatening injuries.

Gunshots reportedly were heard late Monday on West Reserve Drive, but deputies were unable to find anything criminal.

A man living at an apartment complex on Montana 35 allegedly threatened to kill his neighbors.

Deputies went to meet a woman at an Essex hotel after her boyfriend allegedly used pepper spray on her and threw her down.

Deputies were called to break up fights at an Evergreen casino and at a Coram bar.

Cattle got loose on Halfmoon Road. Residents of a Whitefish Hills Drive home reported a black bear problem. It apparently couldn't walk right and wasn't afraid of people.

Deputies received 173 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Kalispell police

Someone passing a bank on Main and Third streets reported seeing three men with guns outside the bank. Responding Kalispell police officers discovered the guns were toys, but arrested one man on a Lake County warrant for larceny.

Wallets were reported stolen from cars on First Avenue East, Second Street West and Eighth Avenue West. Tools also were taken. Medication and $350 were reported stolen from a car in the Flathead Valley Community College parking lot.

Someone working at a hotel off U.S. 93 South reported receiving threatening phone calls from a former co-worker.

A Denver Avenue man called to report his nephew, who allegedly was trying to break down the home's door.

The man trying to pass out Monday evening in the road, then on a bench at a Woodland Park Drive pizza joint, was taken back to his hotel.

A woman on West Idaho Street told officers she thinks she was shot with a pellet gun.

Officers received 75 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 29-year-old man on two theft warrants and for driving on a suspended license during a traffic stop on U.S. 93.

Officers received 36 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police received 29 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alarms

The Bigfork Fire Department responded to Foothill Road after a resident reported smelling smoke.

The Big Mountain Fire Department was called to check on a possible gas leak on Whispering Pines Lane. The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a hit gas line on Goat Trail.

The Olney Fire Department extinguished a vehicle burning outside a U.S. 93 bar. The South Kalispell Fire Department responded to a different section of U.S. 93 after a truck's engine ignited.

The Creston Fire Department and Evergreen Fire Department responded to a one-vehicle crash on Montana 206. The driver was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Hungry Horse Fire Department and Canyon Quick Response Unit responded to a motorcycle crash on U.S. 2. The rider was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
