Lois Nancy Bally King, 94

Lois Nancy Bally King, 94, passed away on July 14, 2009, at the Weatherly Inn in Kent, Wash. Born Jan. 15, 1915, Lois was the youngest of three daughters born to Walter and Barbara Bally in Kalispell. She graduated from Flathead County High School.

She met and later married her husband, Harry King, when he visited his cousin one summer. They had four children, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Harry and Lois lived in McGill, Nev., for many years, later moving to Elko, Nev., Palm Springs, Calif., Las Vegas and Boulder City, Nev., where he passed away. Lois then moved to Fernley, Nev., and Reno, Nev., before coming to live with her daughter in Covington, Wash.

She loved visiting with family and friends, growing lilacs and irises, tending the flowers in her yard, and especially watching the birds that came to her feeders.

Surviving Lois are her sons, Robert and Betty King of Frisco, Texas, and John and Pat King of Carson City, Nev.; daughter, Janet Johnson, of Covington; grandchildren, Cheryl Haughey, Carol and Steve Gaddis, John C. and Marji King, David and Deana Lyon, Michael and Michelle Lyon, Scot and Angela Johnson, and Brad and Emely Johnson; great-grandchildren, Aidan Haughey, Alison Haughey, Rebecca King, Jessica Lyon, Brandon Lyon, Cameron Johnson, Faith Johnson, Mariah Weems and Joseph Johnson.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Cameron King; daughter, Sandra Lyon; grandchild, Robert King; and her parents and sisters.

She will be laid to rest with her husband in East Ely, Nev.
