FVCC tree planting honors couple

A tree dedication ceremony in honor of Les and Alice Sterling will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the native plants garden at Flathead Valley Community College.

Les Sterling was the founder of KOFI Radio and co-founder of FVCC. His wife, Alice, was a Flathead High School teacher.

The tree is a Ponderosa pine planted in June 2008.
