Several Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to Kiwanis Lane in Evergreen after passersby spotted a man sitting in his vehicle with a gun. Turns out the firearm was a pellet gun.

Mailboxes and paper boxes were uprooted on Haskill Basin Road near Whitefish.

A car reported stolen from outside a store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen had actually been towed at the business' request.

Dogs reportedly got into a coop on Lore Lake Road and killed the chickens inside.

A person was observed breaking into a soda machine on Montana 35, apparently for the money.

Young girls going through mailboxes on Haven Drive were gone when deputies arrived.

Deputies cited a 30-year-old woman and a 22-year-old woman for stealing jewelry from an Evergreen box store.

A man was accused of assaulting another man on Second Avenue South in Hungry Horse. But both men had been drinking and the alleged victim decided not to press charges.

Two men got into a fight on Stoner Creek Road in Lakeside. One of them was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Deputies received 139 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Kalispell police

A woman at a garage on North Meridian Road called Kalispell police after employees locked up with her jacket and purse still inside but refused to reopen the door.

Officers freed a puppy that somehow locked himself inside a pickup truck on Third Avenue West.

A DVD player and change went missing from a car on Parkway Drive. Other vehicles were egged.

Cars also were rifled through on Sherwood Lane. Change and medication were stolen from one of them.

Officers responded to Liberty Street after a woman text messaged a neighbor to call 911. The woman's boyfriend, who allegedly trashed the house, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

A Second Street West resident told officers a group of men and woman showed up at his house, pounded on his door, and tried to attack him. Police determined the fight was mutually participated in and counseled those involved.

A Fifth Avenue East woman asked another woman staying at the residence to leave. Her jewelry allegedly left too.

Officers responded to West Utah Street after a man complained that his wife had knocked him out of his wheelchair.

Officers received 74 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of disorderly conduct after he was caught urinating in public on Central Avenue.

Officers received 34 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police were called to speak with a person who returned to a grocery store on U.S. 2 after being banned from the property.

Officers received 44 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Alarms

A person suffered leg and back pain after a fall from a horse near Camas Road. Three Rivers EMS was paged out to the scene but their ambulance was canceled.

Paramedics with the Kalispell Fire Department treated people injured in a three-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon at the intersection of First Avenue East North and California Street.

The Kalispell Fire Department, Evergreen Fire Department, and Creston Fire Department were paged to a rear-end crash on Montana 35. One person was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Bigfork Ambulance took an 11-year-old having an allergic reaction to walnuts to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a bicycle crash on Big Mountain Road and the Kalispell Fire Department treated the victim of a bike crash on Four Mile Drive.

The Olney Fire Department responded to the Railroad Street area after a rider fell from a horse.
