Woman robbed outside casino in Kalispell

Investigators are looking for two men suspected of robbing a woman as she sat in her car outside a west Kalispell casino.

Officers responded to the Montana Nugget Casino about 6 p.m. Monday after the woman reported that two men, one of whom brandished a silver handgun, attempted to rob her of money and prescription narcotics, according to the Kalispell Police Department.

The men escaped with some personal items and the woman - who called authorities from the casino - was not injured.

One of the men, described as slender, about 6 feet tall and in his 20s, was wearing khaki pants, a black sweatshirt, and a black ski mask.

The woman was unable to describe the second man.

They may have fled in an older, blue Jeep Cherokee.

The incident is the eighth robbery or attempted robbery at or outside Kalispell-area casinos since late August.
