Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a home on Ashley Lake Road after the resident returned to find a strange vehicle parked in the driveway, the door kicked in, and two 14-year-old runaway boys sleeping inside. The boys ran out the back door, but were tracked down by deputies and taken into custody. The vehicle had been reported stolen out of Great Falls.

Deputies were called to a residence on U.S. 93 south of Whitefish after a man with a bat allegedly hit some people he didn't want there.

A man called from an office supply store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen to report that he had been hit in the face and was bleeding. The alleged perpetrator was in a nearby home, he said.

A Trails End Drive man told deputies a woman was making threatening phone calls.

A 17-year-old East Reserve boy reportedly is being harassed by an ex-girlfriend who got a restraining order against him but now won't leave him alone.

A Foothill Road woman wanted to press charges against her 11-year-old niece, who reportedly stole some press-on nails, because she showed no remorse when the items were returned.

Deputies were told a 14-year-old Dutter Lane boy got a threatening text message from another teen threatening to break every bone in his body. Deputies spoke with the alleged perpetrator.

Equipment was reported stolen on Big Mountain.

A Meadowlark Drive resident allegedly was grabbed by a granddaughter, causing bruising.

Deputies were called to a possible assault on South Cedar Drive.

Something suspicious was reported at a Willow Glen Drive trailer park, prompting deputies to respond.

Deputies received 102 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Kalispell police

A 22-year-old man tried to run from Kalispell police during a traffic stop on Fifth Avenue West North. He was chased down and arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, in this case brass knuckles, drug possession, driving on a suspended license, driving without insurance, probation violation, and having fictitious plates.

A man approached a 16-year-old Mountain Park Lane girl saying he was a bill collector. When the girl's father confronted him, the man allegedly pulled out pepper spray. Deputies found and spoke with the man, who turned out to be a process server.

A woman allegedly assaulted another woman on Liberty Street. She was taken to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.

Officers responded to a restaurant on U.S. 93 after a passing car apparently was shot by a pink paintball.

Officers arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of DUI during a traffic stop on U.S. 93 South.

Four boys bolted after spotting a patrol car on Main and 12th streets. They were warned about running from police.

A 14th Street East woman complained about a neighbor who keeps parking on her property.

A theft was reported at Kalispell Middle School. Apparently, $291 worth of fundraiser goods were not delivered.

Officers received 70 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 14-year-old boy for allegedly stealing items at the high school.

Officers received 42 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police received 23 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Windward Way to treat someone choking.

Three Rivers EMS responded to a home on U.S. 2 in Columbia Falls after a 45-year-old man mixed beer and sleeping pills. He was not taken to the hospital.
