Flathead boys falls to Sentinel

MISSOULA - Missoula Sentinel took care of business early, rolling to an 18-2 advantage in the opening eight minutes of play en route to a 77-34 Western AA boys basketball victory on Tuesday.

Sentinel (6-2 overall, 2-1 in league) added another 18 points in the second period to lead 36-11 at the break.

Tanner Salois and Karl Ingram shared scoring honors for FHS with 11 points each.

Sentinel's Kendal Maier led all scorers with 20 points.

Flathead (1-6 and 0-1) is back in action Saturday hosting Missoula Big Sky, 4:30 p.m.
