Flathead County sheriff's deputies responded to East Evergreen Drive after receiving reports that a 33-year-old man was hitting a woman and items were being thrown. He was arrested on suspicion of partner assault and she was taken to the hospital with some bruising. The youths reportedly made it to the neighbor's.

A dog that fell through some ice near Riverside Road made it out of the water.

Someone walked out of a restaurant on U.S. 2 in Evergreen with a picture off the wall.

Illegal dumping was reported near Muskrat Slough. Turns out the material being dumped was snow and there wasn't anything illegal about it.

A Kings Loop woman called her mother to report that her husband was "freaking out." Deputies responded to the residence and separated the couple.

Deputies responded to Harbin Hill Road after a couple complained about their intoxicated 23-year-old son, who allegedly was throwing things around. He was removed from the home.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police responded to a fight between two women at a Nucleus Avenue bar. One of them was taken to the hospital with a cut over her eye.

Officers received 27 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

The Creston Fire Department responded to Montana 35 after a moving truck caught fire. The flames were extinguished before firefighters arrived.

Whitefish Ambulance responded to Baker Avenue after a 50-year-old woman cut her hand. She was taken to North Valley Hospital.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Claremont Street where a 40-year-old woman was choking, reportedly on a pill. She was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Evergreen Fire Department extinguished a chimney fire on West Cottonwood Drive.

Bigfork Ambulance responded to Eagle Bend Drive after a 73-year-old man fell and hurt his knee, possibly breaking it. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Smith Valley Fire Department responded to reports of a natural-gas leak on Whalebone Drive.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to Conestoga Court after smoke was spotted coming from a home.
