Flathead County sheriff's deputies helped to quell the disturbance after an open line on a 911 call revealed a husband and wife fighting, with one accusing the other of wanting to kill the speaker and somebody saying, "Clever for you."

Officials could not locate a Kalispell school bus that was reported speeding along U.S. 2 West toward the Blue Moon shortly before midnight Saturday.

A teen spent the night with another relative after claiming her stepfather abused her and refused to let her go live with her biological father.

Deputies got a two calls from a woman Saturday night and Sunday, first to report her husband had thrown her and her son out of the house and then to report that he kept calling to threaten her.

An unconscious man in Hungry Horse turned out to be intoxicated, but refused transport to a hospital Saturday night.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police got a call from someone concerned for a man who had cut his head in a fall and was wandering around a hotel. Kalispell Fire Department workers took him to the hospital, where he was treated for hypothermia and the cut on his head.

A male German shepherd mix with no collar or tags, about 6 months old, went to the shelter Saturday evening. A male rottweiler was luckier. After nearly being hit on Eighth Avenue West, the driver picked up the pooch and looked in vain for its owner, then took it home for safekeeping.

Five or six guys were being jerks - that's what the caller reported - by causing problems in a casino before taking it outside Saturday night. Shortly after, an arguing man and woman played out a similar performance.

Two snowblowers were reported stolen - one from a shop in the alley behind Seventh Avenue West and the other from a yard on Sixth Avenue West.

Loud slumber-party-goers and a pizza delivery to the revelers annoyed a neighbor recovering from surgery at 1 a.m. Sunday.

The early morning bail-out from a vehicle window did nothing to save its occupants from arrests during a traffic stop - one on suspicion of DUI and careless driving, and the other on a warrant.

A crash at Center and Main on Sunday involved a Kalispell police car and a trip to the emergency room.

A runaway girl was found partying at a local hotel, but the mother who reported the missing daughter initially could not be reached by phone to let her know she'd been found.

A caller had a few questions about someone taking nude pictures of another person and sending the images by cell phone to others. Police counseled the caller.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police are investigating a case of possible alcohol poisoning. A caller just before 2:30 a.m. reported a 17-year-old boy was having a seizure, but it was determined to be alcohol induced.

Officers received 39 calls for help from 3:30 p.m. Saturday to 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police went to a two-vehicle crash early Sunday only to discover drivers taking off on foot and lying down in the alley. The Subaru driver was found; the truck driver was not.

Nursing home employees requested that police ask a man to move along after he tried camping out in the lobby there.

Early on Sunday, police arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of drunken driving in one stop, and a 25-year-old woman on suspicion of drunken driving and obstructing a police officer in another stop.

Officers received 31 calls for help from 3:30 p.m. Saturday to 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

Alarms

Kalispell Fire and Ambulance got a 2-year-old to the hospital after receiving a report that the child was choking on something Sunday morning.

They also took a woman from a restaurant to the hospital after she suffered a seizure Sunday afternoon.
