The Flathead County Sheriff's Office is investigating how guns stolen in Utah showed up in Flathead County.

A mailbox was vandalized Wednesday on Badrock Drive.

A snowboard was stolen Wednesday on Big Mountain.

A 47-year-old man was hit in the head with a flashlight, while several others fled at a Hungry Horse home Thursday. All were intoxicated. No hospitalization was needed.

Sheriff's Office dispatchers logged 139 calls from 3:30 p.m. Wednesday to 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of slapping his girlfriend at a southern Kalispell hotel Thursday morning.

Police arrested a 32-year-old woman on suspicion of drunken driving early Thursday morning.

An employee who was quitting punched a hole in the wall of U.S. 2 West restaurant Wednesday evening.

A window was broken at the Kalispell Senior Citizens Center on Wednesday afternoon.

Police logged 76 calls from 3:30 p.m. Wednesday to 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 24-year-old woman on suspicion of shoplifting from a grocery store late Wednesday afternoon.

Police logged 45 calls from 3:30 p.m. Wednesday to 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of drunken driving early Thursday morning.

Police logged 21 calls from 3:30 p.m. Wednesday to 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Alarms

The Big Mountain Ambulance took a 38-year-old injured man from Big Mountain to North Valley Hospital on Wednesday afternoon.

The West Valley Fire Department put out a fire that engulfed a rock crusher at a West Valley gravel pit early Thursday morning.

The Evergreen Fire Department put out a boiler area fire early Thursday morning at Plum Creek's Evergreen plant. No major damage occurred, and the plant and boiler were operational Thursday. A technical problem with the boiler is the suspected cause.
