A man called Flathead County Sheriff's deputies from the pay phone at a convenience store on U.S. 2 and Montana 40 to report his credit card stolen. It turns out he had been drinking the night before in a nearby bar and may actually have left the card behind when he was kicked out.

Deputies called to check on a light flashing outside a U.S. 2 casino discovered it was an alarm to a septic system.

Transients camping in a tree line on private property off U.S. 93 North were rousted from the area.

An intoxicated and unwelcome man found passed out on Montana 35 was given a ride to a safe place.

Quarters were stolen from the laundry room of a West Glacier campground. Tools reportedly were stolen off Lower Valley Road.

Deputies received 165 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Kalispell police

Someone in the Rockefeller Drive area reported hearing a woman scream, then a man yelling, followed by three shots. A vehicle reportedly was spotted leaving the area, but Kalispell police did not find anything amiss.

A young boy with a knife caught scraping the paint off the flagpole outside a Second Street West school was returned to his baby sitter.

People chanting suspiciously Monday night in Lawrence Park were gone when officers arrived.

Officers received 81 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police received 35 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police received 30 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alarms

The ALERT helicopter, Columbia Falls Fire Department and Three Rivers EMS responded to a crash on U.S. 2 and Montana 40. Three injured people were taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

An elderly man suffering from an allergic reaction to a bee sting was treated by paramedics with the Whitefish Fire Department. He was taken to North Valley Hospital.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Seventh Avenue West North after a 13-year-old girl hurt her elbow. She was taken to the hospital.
