The landlord of an Evergreen apartment complex had a junked vehicle towed after the owner failed to get it out of the lot in a timely manner. The owner, however, objected to the car's removal and Flathead County Sheriff's deputies were called to keep the peace.

A passerby feared that three boys hanging out behind an Evergreen gas station might resort to vandalism to entertain themselves. Deputies told the youths to move along.

A Spring Creek Drive resident had questions about removing an unwelcome woman who showed up in the driveway.

Deputies responded to Grand Drive in Bigfork after a woman thought she heard someone knocking on her windows. Investigators were unable to find the suspected prowler or anything else amiss.

Deputies advised a father and son arguing on Tetrault Road to keep the noise level down.

A man passed out in his car near a motel on Montana 35 in Bigfork was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

Two women fighting in front of a motel on U.S. 2 in Evergreen agreed to work the matter out between themselves.

A couple fighting on Olson Court outside Columbia Falls each accused the other spouse of physical violence, but deputies were unable to find any evidence of an assault and separated the pair for the night.

Guns were stolen from a Kila residence. A man was spotted taking a license plate off a car in Evergreen, but he returned it and everyone left happy.

Someone broke into a coffee stand on Woodland Drive.

A canoe tipped over Saturday afternoon on the South Fork of the Flathead River near Hungry Horse, but everyone got out of the water safely.

Deputies received 167 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Kalispell police

A West Utah Street man told Kalispell police his ex-wife is claiming that he kicked her in the face. What actually happened was that she kicked him in the face, he said. Officers were unable to find any sign of an injury on either party.

Officers found signs of forced entry on a Fifth Avenue West residence after its owners, who were out of town, were told by a neighbor that their home may have been burglarized. The door knob reportedly had been torn off.

A belligerent customer refused to leave a Corporate Drive business and instead started banging on walls and doors.

Pain medication was reported stolen from a residence on Fourth Avenue East. The home had been left unlocked.

A Summit Ridge Drive woman locked herself in the bathroom after she allegedly was attacked by her son, again.

Officers responded to a bar on West Idaho Street after a man called to complain that someone pulled a knife on him. Investigators heard conflicting stories regarding the incident. No one wanted to pursue charges.

A woman allegedly twice hit a man in the face near the intersection of Main and Sixth streets, but, again, no one wanted to file charges.

Three intoxicated men outside a North Meridian Road pizza joint yelled profanities and urinated in public - all while passing a bottle. An employee wanted the trio removed from the premises.

A man at a Second Street East bar called to complain that the ATM was scamming people. Apparently he was having a little trouble with it.

Shots reportedly were fired near the intersection of Second Avenue East North and California Street. Witnesses reported seeing a car drive off. Officers, however, were unable to find anything amiss.

A woman lying in the road at the intersection of Fifth Avenue West and Fifth Street told a passerby she wanted someone to kill her. She was gone when officers arrived.

A man came into the police department's lobby Saturday asking for help in removing some handcuffs locked on his wrist.

Officers received 89 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police responded to Wisconsin Avenue after a resident thought he heard someone in his house. It was a roommate.

Two girls were arrested for possession of alcohol after the vehicle they were riding in crashed into a ditch off U.S. 93. The driver, a 25-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of DUI and endangering the welfare of children.

Officers received 34 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police received 27 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Alarms

The ALERT helicopter, Coram Fire Department, and Canyon Quick Response Unit were called to Seville Lane to treat the victim of a possible overdose.

Paramedics with the Kalispell Fire Department were dispatched Friday afternoon to a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 93 North. A woman with a minor head injury refused medical treatment at the scene.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department and Three Rivers EMS responded to Third Avenue West in Columbia Falls to treat a resident going into diabetic shock.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Third Avenue East North after an elderly woman was hit by a Jeep. She left on foot.
