Glacier art exhibit, book signings planned

The Glacier National Park Fund and the Glacier Association invite the public to attend an open house from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, at 402 Ninth St. W. in Columbia Falls, to view 14 exquisite pieces of art that have been selected for Glacier National Park's Centennial.

Also featured at the event will be author C.W. Guthrie and photographer Bret Bouda. Guthrie will sign her books, "Glacier: The First 100 Years' and "Going to the Sun: Highway to the Sky." Bouda will sign his books, "Glacier Park Wide" and "Glacier Classics."

The Glacier Association (formerly known as the Glacier Natural History Association) is a nonprofit partner of Glacier National Park that supports education about the park through the sale of books and other media at the park visitor centers.
