Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a Gunsite Loop home after someone knocked the air conditioner out of the wall and crawled inside. The owner noticed a half-eaten sandwich on the coffee table.

A man allegedly tried to drown a woman Sunday somewhere in the Hungry Horse area. The report came from a third party.

A Cayuse Lane woman told deputies her ex-boyfriend won't quit harassing her.

Livestock reportedly was injured when a horse trailer rolled over near Meadow Creek Trail.

A Strawberry View Lane landlord thought the man and woman delivering furniture to her renter may have been sent by her tenant's estranged wife.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police responded to Ashley Drive after a woman reported being attacked Tuesday by her boyfriend. He reportedly was on his lunch hour. Officers arrested the man on suspicion of partner assault.

A man and woman trying car doors on Fifth Avenue West were gone when officers arrived.

Cell phones and cash were reported stolen at Woodland Park. A bag was lifted out of a car parked at a Center Street mall.

A "crazy man" was spotted messing around with the power meter on a Woodland Drive home, according to the resident.

Tires were slashed on a car off Hawthorne Avenue. A car parked at a store on West Idaho Street was damaged. A Sherry Lane home reportedly was egged.

A man on Ninth Avenue West allegedly grabbed another man and threatened to beat him up.

An intoxicated woman walking down 12th Avenue West claims her dress was torn and she has a suspicious hickey.

Officers arrested a 33-year-old man on two Montana Highway Patrol warrants for traffic offenses and on a new charge of driving without a valid license during a traffic stop on West Idaho Street.

A man reportedly walked into a casino on U.S. 93 South to use the phone, but ended up stealing $2.50.

Officers received 78 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish police received 38 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Officers believe reports of a fight early Tuesday morning at a pizza joint on U.S. 2 were unfounded. Columbia Falls police responded.

Someone allegedly stole a stop sign off a school bus at the high school bus barn.

Officers received 27 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alarms

The Somers Fire Department and Lakeside Quick Response Unit responded to outside a Lakeside casino after a man who had been drinking there fell and injured his head. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center. His girlfriend, however, didn't understand what was going on and created a minor disturbance. She was given a ride home.

The Somers Fire Department responded to a Lakeside restaurant after a fire appeared to have started in the kitchen but was extinguished by the sprinkler system.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to North Valley Drive after a man fell 10 feet while working on a house. He went to North Valley Hospital.

Two people were injured when their motorcycle hit a deer on U.S. 93. Paramedics with the Whitefish Fire Department took the pair to North Valley Hospital.
