Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to Rufenach Lane after a woman allegedly came into the room drunk, cussed at her son, and then hit him.

A woman called deputies to complain about her daughter's ex making threatening phone calls, an alleged violation of the restraining order.

An intoxicated man reportedly banged on the door of an Evergreen apartment trying to cause problems.

Boaters stranded on the Hungry Horse Reservoir were towed safely back to their campsite.

A person walking near an Evergreen cemetery reported seeing a "bear" that began jumping up and down.

A woman outside a trailer in Hungry Horse reportedly threw rocks at a man, but everything was quiet when deputies arrived.

Video games and a video game system were reported stolen from a Bigfork home. The burglar may have gotten in through a window.

A Hungry Horse pastor received a threatening phone call from a man threatening to show at the Sunday service and 'speak his piece."

Deputies were called to break up disturbances on Alberta Street and U.S. 2 outside Columbia Falls. Excessive noise from a neighbor started the Columbia-Falls area altercation.

Deputies received 165 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police confiscated a homemade marijuana pipe from three teenage boys on West Railroad Street.

Neighbors allegedly threw oil on a truck parked at a Fifth Avenue West salon, possibly in retaliation for a parking disagreement.

A young child on a raft in the Stillwater River near Lawrence Park was pulled to shore unharmed.

Teen girls cussing and riding skateboards without helmets at Woodland Park were gone when officers arrived.

Officers counseled two men arguing outside a Main Street hotel. Derogatory names allegedly were exchanged.

Two boys, 9- and 10-years-old, went missing on Seventh Avenue West. They were found and returned home.

No one wanted to press charges in connection with a fight on Third and Main streets. In an earlier incident at the same location, officers cited a man for disorderly conduct.

Officers separated a man and woman arguing on Hawthorne Avenue, possibly over drug use.

An intoxicated man passed out on the floor of a Main Street hotel was sent on his way.

An Appleway Drive resident told officers a roommate cashed more than $600 worth of stolen checks.

Doors on a car at a convenience store on U.S. 93 South and Cemetery Road were kicked in. A van at a First Avenue East North grocery store was covered in graphic graffiti. Someone allegedly took a golf club to a car at a golf course off North Main Street.

Officers received 83 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of DUI and for driving on a suspended license during a traffic stop on Columbia Avenue.

In a separate traffic stop, a 19-year-old man was arrested for driving on a suspended license on Baker Avenue.

A mountain lion was spotted running around the City Beach area early Friday morning.

Officers received 63 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 15-year-old boy for shoplifting items from a Nucleus Avenue grocery store.

Officers received 39 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Alarms

In separate calls Thursday evening, the Whitefish Fire Department responded to Larkspur Lane to treat a resident with an eye injury and to U.S. 93 South to treat a person who fell down the stairs.

Paramedics with the Whitefish Fire Department also responded to Spokane Avenue after a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle. The cyclist suffered minor injuries.

The Bigfork Fire Department responded to Montana 35 after a gas line was hit.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to Karrow Avenue after a man was hit by a tree. He was taken to North Valley Hospital with a hurt knee.
