Cale Thomas Brown, 27

Cale Thomas Brown, a lifelong resident of Flathead County, died Saturday, July 19, 2008, in a highway accident. Cale was born March 15, 1981, in Whitefish and graduated in 1999 from Columbia Falls High School.

He was employed for nine years at Kalispell Art Casting. In addition to this work, Cale was an independent artist. His paintings and sculptures have been on display at various Montana businesses and galleries.

Cale is survived by many, many close friends; by his parents, Thomas E. and Anne E. Brown, of York, Pa.; his maternal grandparents, Carle F. and Joyce Greenwalt O'Neil, of Columbia Falls; his paternal grandfather, Julius Brown Sr., of DiIlworth, Minn.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of a funeral service, a gathering of friends and family will celebrate his life at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at 310 Weaver Lane, at Lake Blaine.
