The Flathead County Sheriff's Office told a property owner that it's not a good idea to imbed spikes

on his land to discourage speeders. The sharpened rebar just off of a road poses a hazard to children on bikes and others on Taelor Road, and the property owner was told to remove them.

On Parker Hill Road, a resident said a neighbor put up stumps to block his easement.

Near the gravel pit west of Whitefish, in the woods off of the left-hand dirt road, is a beer can that was used for target practice. To the left of that is an empty wine bottle. About 75 feet to the southwest of there, a little over the bank, is where a caller said a possibly stolen motorcycle lay. A deputy couldn't find it.

A flag and stand were stolen from Harmony Road.

A windshield was smashed at Applebee's.

Bank bags containing business checks were found near the river by Spruce Park Campground.
