Kathleen Gloraine Donovan, 69

Kathleen Gloraine Donovan, 69, a longtime Whitefish resident, passed away Wednesday morning, Sept. 13, 2006, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born March 28, 1937, in Kalispell, the daughter of Allan and Helen Phillips. Kathleen attended schools in Whitefish and graduated from Whitefish High School in 1955.

She was a loan processor at the Whitefish Credit Union for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, the Mountain View Rebekah Lodge, and Whitefish Order of the Rainbow Lodge of Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Donovan, and by her parents.

She is survived by a daughter; Karen and Mike Deardurff; a son, Steve and Cyndi Tanska; a daughter, Tammy and Dean Anderson; a daughter, Jacque and Bob Lund; A son, Justin and Missy Donovan; a son, Kevin Donovan; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a brother, John Phillips; and by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22, at Austin Funeral Home in Whitefish with Rev. Steve Tanska, officiating. Women of the Moose rites will be cited at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia Falls with Rev. David V. Kauffman in charge of committal services.

The family has suggested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
