JoAnne Pauline Feist, 22, 'was carried to Heaven by her Angels' on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006.

JoAnne was born July 9, 1984 in Kalispell, to Gene and Sandy Feist, to join sisters Jessie Elizabeth and Katherine Emma Feist. Joanne attended Swan River School, Hedges Elementary School and graduated from Laxer High School

Touching people's lives with the corners of her lips when she smiled, that was our sweet girl. There was always a hug and 'I Love You' before goodbye. There was always a generosity with her heart and mind. From stimulating conversation and deep thought to quick-witted statements and humor, she had an intelligence that could keep you on your toes.

As a friend to animals, she would refuse to eat meat. As a friend to others, she was compassionate and true and kind. To know this gentle spirit was to unconditionally love her.

She is survived by her parents, Bob and Sandy McKeen Kiewel; father, Eugene P. Feist; sisters, Jessie Elizabeth and Katherine Emma Feist; and numerous other family members and friends.

A closed casket visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services for JoAnne will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Burial will be after the service at Glacier Memorial Gardens.
